2015 so far…

2015 has been another busy year with tours of NSW, and in Western Australia the Gascoyne and south coast regions. Some highlights include the Perth International Arts Festival (Great Southern programme) and the National Folk Festival in Canberra with the Travelling Bones line up. Following on from the Murru band show at the Melbourne festival last year, there have been more shows with Broome based singer-songwriter John Bennett, including Fairbridge Festival, as a trio with legendary steel guitarist Lucky Oceans. see John's song "Long Way Home" being performed by the Murru band...

Travelling Bones Album

" 'Travelling Bones' is a beautiful contemporary folk and country album with a hint of blues that fills a small part in your soul that you wouldn't otherwise have even known was empty"
Emma Bradstock - ISOLATED NATION

The Human Highway

A new line up was created at the end of 2014 for one show at the Newport Hotel in Fremantle, as part of the Newport Record Club Series, where a band plays a classic album in its entirety. David put together this line up to play Neil Young's "Comes A Time" album. Some of the footage has just been put up on Youtube, watch "Look Out For My Love".
